🟣 Uploading Games to VideoArena

VideoArena supports two types of game uploads:

• Automatic uploads from your Camera-Pan v3 processing device

• Manual uploads from any device or locally processed footage

This guide covers both methods so you can choose what best fits your workflow.

🚀 Automatic Uploads (Camera-Pan v3)

If you're using a Camera-Pan v3, you can upload footage directly to VideoArena through the Camera-Pan app. Here's how to set it up and upload your games:

🔗 Step 1: Link Your Camera-Pan v3 to VideoArena

1. Go to your Arena in VideoArena

   • Click "Camera Integration" from the sidebar.

   • Copy the provided API Key.

2. Open the Camera-Pan App (on your phone or tablet)

   • Tap Settings.

   • Tap "Link to VideoArena".

3. Paste the API Key

   • Paste the copied key into the input field.

   • Tap Submit.

4. Check for Successful Linking

   • The page will refresh, showing the linked status.

   • Back in VideoArena, under Camera Integration, the linked camera will now appear in the list.

☁ Step 2: Upload a Game

1. Ensure Internet Access

   • Plug the Camera-Pan processing unit into your router via Ethernet.

2. Upload via the Camera-Pan App

   • Go to the Upload section in the app.

   • Find the game you want to upload.

   • Tap Upload next to the game.

3. Confirmation

   • Once uploaded, you’ll receive an email confirmation when the upload is complete and ready.

ℹ Note: This upload includes the wide-angle panorama footage only, which is required for cloud processing in VideoArena. If you've already processed the game locally and don't need cloud processing, use the manual upload method below.

📤 Manual Uploads (Any Device)

Manual uploads are ideal if:

• You're using a different version of Camera-Pan

• You’ve already processed the footage locally

• You want full control over upload timing and video versions

• You use a different method to record your games

🧭 Step 1: Go to the Recordings Page

• In your Arena, go to the Recordings page.

• Click the "Upload Game" button.

📝 Step 2: Fill in Upload Details

• Choose to upload into a New Game or add to an Existing Game.

• Enter a video name for easy reference if uploading a new one.

• Select the version type:

  • Panorama: Unprocessed wide-angle footage

  • Tracked: Already-processed footage with player/ball/action tracking

⏫ Step 3: Upload Your File

• Select your .mp4 file (only MP4 format is supported).

• Uploads are resumable – if the upload is interrupted, it will resume from where it left off the next time you retry.

🔄 This is ideal for large files or slower internet connections — you won’t need to restart if something goes wrong.
